What we collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not collect your name or phone number.
When you use the app we store the trade data you log: descriptions, dates, P&L values, session notes, strategy names, and screenshots you capture. This data is tied to your account and stored securely via Supabase.
What we do not collect
Voice recordings are not stored. Audio is processed entirely in your browser and never sent to our servers. Only the final transcribed text is saved as your trade description.
We do not run ads. We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not track you across other websites.
Screenshots
When you use the screen capture feature, screenshots are uploaded to secure cloud storage and linked to your trade log. They are only accessible through your account. You can delete any trade (and its screenshot) at any time from within the app.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to power the Back-Play features you use: displaying your sessions, calculating your analytics, and showing your trade history. We do not analyze your trading data for any purpose other than showing it back to you.
Third-party services
Back-Play uses the following third-party services to operate:
- ·Supabase — authentication and database storage
- ·Vercel — hosting and deployment
Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for these services to function.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us on Discord. You can delete individual trades and sessions directly in the app. We will respond to any data requests within 30 days.
